Active Release Techniques®

ART® is a patented, state-of-the-art soft tissue system/movement-based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART®. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles.

Champion Health Associates is proud to be the "birthplace" and fountainhead of ART® for the world. When you come to Champion Health, you are getting the best of the technique from the founder and the people who help him teach it to the world!

We practice a variety of chiropractic methods here, at Champion. Our goal is to provide our patients with the techniques and modalities needed to resolve particular problems and achieve optimal health.

We use a variety of massage techniques here at Champion Health. Whether it be the relaxation of a swedish massage, the tension and trigger point release of neuromuscular therapy, or the rehabilitation of an ART soft tissue treatment.

A Perfect Light’s APLightsource 2000™

perfect_lightA Perfect Light’s APLightsource 2000™

is a revolutionary non-invasive treatment program utilizing LED (Light Emitting Diodes) red and infrared light intended for the treatment of temporary or chronic pain for sports related injuries and its unique programs aid in cell rejuvenation resulting in the relief of minor muscle and joint pain, arthritis and muscle spasms, relieving stiffness, promoting relaxation of muscle tissue and temporarily increasing local blood circulation; and ultimately speeding recovery and rehabilitation, allowing for greater mobility and endurance.

unique treatment programs utilize Photo-Dynamic Therapy (PDT) and LED’s to deliver safe low level light, converting light energy (Photo-Biostimulation) into cellular energy. This process stimulates the cells’ power center to produce ATP (Adrenosine tri-phosphate) energy. The treatments are short (usually a few 20-minute sessions) and are accomplished without pain, and with no negative side affects.
